On April 15, 2021, Luis Aguilar was elected Area 1 Secretary, representing the Carter TAFE Chapter.
The Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) recent held elections for their Area 1 Region, which encompasses Laredo and areas across and north of the Rio Grande Valley.
Luis will have an opportunity to develop and design the Area 1 Conference that will be held in November 2021 at Texas A&M University-Kingsville along with contributing to the TAFE State Conference in March of 2022.
