On Thursday, March 8, Jimmy Carter Early College High School welcomes all parents to come and visit with their student’s teachers from 6-8 p.m.

Open House is an event where schools open their doors to people/ parents and schoolchildren can visit the school outside of the working day.
People can visit their children’s classroom, pupils show the family around the school, and parents can see their pupils achievements and catch a glimpse of what they are learning.
Often the event is used as an opportunity for a parent-teacher meeting during which the teacher tells their parents about what their children may be having trouble with in class. It is sometimes held on evenings early during the school year so families can get acquainted with their children’s teacher, see the classroom after their children have settled in, and get an overview of classroom expectations, both for academics and behavior.
