Jayleen, “It was a beautiful experience, fun, and nice to see the teachers show up to see my work.”

Jimmy Carter Early College first art gallery highlighted studio projects created by art appreciation students.

Students created projects based on different art studios such as sculpture, drawing, painting, and printmaking in which they explored different art techniques, movements, and artists throughout times. This excellent effort reinforces classroom theory.  It provides an amazing learning experience and opportunity for students to comprehend the behind the scenes in the creation of an artwork and builds a strong foundation in the appreciation of the visual arts.
