    Alyssa Palomo is a junior at Jimmy Carter Early College High School and a member of the RedGoldNews staff. She joined the program to gain experience in media and enjoys working behind the camera to capture meaningful photos for the school community. Alongside her schoolwork, Alyssa is in her second year as a varsity cheerleader and participates in dual enrollment and a AV production class. She brings strong organizational skills to the team and has developed new strengths in both writing and photography. Outside of school, she enjoys cooking and has been involved in dance and cheer since the 2nd grade. Alyssa plans to pursue a career as an ultrasound technician while continuing to grow both mentally and physically.
