Two Political Beasts
Democrats, support government spending on social services (social security, Medicare, welfare programs) rather than military. Republicans believe citizens should take more responsibility for themselves to prevent the government from becoming too involved. A key difference between Democrats and Republicans is how Democrats are more open to “radical” ideas, whereas Republicans prefer tradition.
